"Elements" is our third semester project. Due to COVID, the entire project was done from our homes. We had ten weeks to create this project.
This little animated short tells a story about Water, Fire, Earth and Air, who have always lived together in their joint paradise. However, one day, the felt limited by each other. They decided to split up and live alone on an isle of their own. At first they enjoy their freedom, but soon they find out their decision has been a horrible mistake.
I think of this project as a representation of our development as a team. It was a little difficult at first, but from the moment we all realized what we can achieve together, there was a harmony and team spirit I would not trade for the world.
I was responsible for Animation, Sculpting, Texturing, 2D FX and some Production tasks. I also partly did the Layout, Editing and created the Sounddesign.
